ROFLCOPTER, or "LOL," was sort of our break-out hit with the kids, and one of our most solid in my opinion. It's a light-hearted and fun track you can dance to, very silly, and full of clever internet l33t speak. The original premise of the vocal is about meeting people online, developing a relationship, and then meeting them in person and being really disappointed! In retrospect, I don't actually draw much of a distinction between online and IRL relationships anymore, but at the time I probably thought it was pretty humorous. We used to joke that this song was about people falling in love through World of Warcraft. LOL! -Gabe
