Because our track names were traditionally unpronouncable, we had nicknames for most tracks. This track was nicknamed "Dave," after some former ass of a step-father I had growing up. The song theme is rather accusative and judgmental, describing the kinds of people who have a lot of money and social status but absolutely no sense of dignity, who treat everyone around them like garbage, which makes them worthless in my view. The lyrics make multiple jabs at these asshats, but the bridge in particular recalls a vivid memory I have of Aaron being screamed at by my step-father for sneezing in his fruit salad.
